Good day and welcome everyone to the fourth progression blog for the Burglars Incorporated. So much progress has been made, so let’s jump right into it!
In the art department, we have had both Matthew and Abigail making a crazy amount of progress. Abigail has been working on making the character animations for Quick Cooper, which are already looking pretty good! Matthew has been working so incredibly hard on detailing another shop and another mid aisle stand up to demo quality levels. Oh would you look at this arcade! I know it reminds you of the olden days, but don’t fall asleep yet gramps, this blog isn’t over just yet.
On the programming side Rahul has made an incredible amount of progress. He has implemented the in-game value counter, bag space counter and the timer, a drop-off zone for the player to drop off all the stolen items (and to collect all the dollar bills), and Rahul has also started with implementing the sound tracks and the main menu.
Talking about sound tracks, Justin has made a great deal of progress on the sounds and music for the game. He has made several sounds for the main menu and he has also created another music track that is going to be used in game. Justin has now started working on something that will stay secret for a while (because we love to keep you guys and girls curious), but I can assure you that it is going to be amazing!
In the writing department, Fraser has been working very hard on the character descriptions for all of the in-game characters and it is really starting to form personalities around our 4 lovely characters. I mean, just read the next piece and you will instantly fall in love.
Last, but not least, I have made a ton of progress regarding keeping the game on track and planning next stages of the development process. Besides that, I have been annoying Rahul with all kinds of crazy ideas and I worked on a flowchart for the UI.
Also for a one time offer, if you share this blog with as many people as possible, we will not hire Burglars Inc to make 1 sock disappear out of your washing machine.
