Hello everyone and welcome to another iteration of the 2D-Platformer Game blog. Since the last blog I have done a fair bit of tweaking to the game, but depending on the type of person you are you will either see this as progress or regress.
The ‘tweaking’ that I have done involves me essentially restarting the development of the game in order to improve the overall product. This is because while I was playing over the game I did not believe it was on track to achieve what was set out in the original plans. I realise the fact that some people may be angered by me restarting the development of the game, especially this late on, but trust me when I say that it is not a major delay. Before restarting the development I spent a couple of days creating a detailed plan, which I know I should have done before starting the game, and this should help me stay on track during the development of the 2D Platformer. The next month of development will essentially consist of the re-creation of the game up to the point it was at, and possibly the addition of more features which I will discuss in the upcoming blog and on our Facebook and Twitter.
